Abstract

 記録パワー調整に要する時間を短縮し、PCAの消費量を抑制することが可能な情報記録再生装置を提供する。記録媒体からの再生信号から、記録パワーに応じて変化する記録状態を検出するアシンメトリ検出回路と、記録パワー調整を行う記録パワー設定回路と、再生信号をもとに再生クロックを生成する再生クロック生成回路と、再生信号と再生クロックとの位相誤差を検出する位相誤差検出回路と、再生信号のパターンを検出するパターン検出回路と、各パターンごとの位相誤差の平均値を求めるパターン位相誤差平均回路と、前記パターン位相誤差平均回路の出力をもとに、記録発光波形を調整する記録発光波形調整回路と、検出された記録状態が所定の範囲内にある場合は、前記記録パワー設定回路に対して記録パワー調整を行わないよう制御する記録パワー調整実行判断回路とを備えた。
