Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein Verschlusselement zum dichtenden Verschliessen von Bohrungen, mit einem zum Einsetzen in eine zu verschliessende Bohrung vorgesehenen expandierbaren zylindrischen Grundkörper mit nach aussen abstehendem Stützflansch und einem im Innern des Grundkörpers zur Wirkung bringbaren Spreizkörper für den Grundkörper, welcher gleichzeitig einen Abschlussdeckel für die Bohrung des Grundkörpers bildet.The present invention relates to a closure element for sealing closure of holes, with an intended for insertion into a hole to be closed expandable cylindrical body with outwardly projecting support flange and a bring in the interior of the body to effect expansion body for the body, which at the same time a cover for the Bore of the body forms.

Aufgabe der vorliegenden Erfindung war die Schaffung eines Verschlusselementes auch für Bohrungen im grosseren Durchmesserbereich, welcher weniger hohe Drücke aushalten muss (z.B. bis 15 bar) und eine geringere Fertigungspräzision verlangt, dafür jedoch äusserst einfach zu bedienen ist, normalen einfachen Verschlussdeckeln jedoch überlegen ist (Anwendung z.B. im Motorenbau als Dichtelement für Bohrungen des Motorblocks). Diese Aufgabe wird bei einem Verschlusselement der eingangs definierten Art erfindungsgemäss durch die Merkmale des kennzeichnenden Teils von Anspruch 1 gelöst.Since high-strength anchorage must be guaranteed, the production quality of the plugs and the preparation of the holes are of the highest importance.
