Abstract

 通電加熱されたワークを下流工程へ搬送する際、ワークの熱変形を防止ないし抑制することができると共に、下流工程においてワークの位置決めが容易な搬送装置及びそれを有する熱間プレス成形装置を提供する。通電位置P1で通電加熱されたワークを、通電位置P1と水平方向に沿って離隔する熱間プレス成形するための加工位置P2へ搬送する搬送装置5であって、通電加熱されたワークの長手方向両端部をクランプ自在な保持部材と、保持部材を少なくとも通電位置P1から加工位置P2へ横行させる駆動機構と、同じ高さに位置する通電位置P1と加工位置P2の間に、通電位置P1側に比べて加工位置P2側が高くなるよう傾斜して延在し、通電加熱されて加工位置P2へ向かって搬送中のワークの長手方向中間部を案内ないし支持自在な案内部材54とを有する。
