Abstract

L'invention porte sur un dispositif de palier pour une roue, dans lequel l'abrasion par usure de contact se produisant au cours du temps lors du contact de surfaces accouplées entre des composants est évitée pour améliorer la fiabilité du dispositif de palier. Une bague interne (3) est axialement fixée à une bague de moyeu (2) par une section étagée (2d). Un élément de joint externe possède, en une seule pièce, une section d'arbre s'étendant axialement à partir d'une section d'épaulement de l'élément de joint externe. La section d'arbre est adaptée dans la bague de moyeu (2) par des dentelures (2c) avec la section d'épaulement en butée contre la section étagée (2d). L'élément de joint externe est réuni, à l'aide d'un écrou de fixation venant en contact avec une surface d'extrémité externe (12) de la bague de moyeu (2), à la bague de moyeu (2) de telle sorte que l'élément de joint externe et la bague de moyeu peuvent être axialement séparés l'un de l'autre et peuvent transmettre un couple entre eux. Un traitement de durcissement au laser est appliqué à la fois à une surface s'étendant à partir d'une surface latérale externe (4a) d'une bride de montage de roue (4) à une section pilote (11), et à une surface s'étendant de la surface d'extrémité externe (12) de la bague de moyeu (2) à la section étagée (2d) par l'intermédiaire des dentelures (2c).
