Abstract
【解決手段】転がり軸受20と等速自在継手30とがユニット化され、転がり軸受20が外方部材11と内方部材8とボール13a、13bとを備え、内方部材8に外側継手部材32が連結された駆動車輪用軸受装置である。外側継手部材32のマウス部32aの内方部材対応面62と、内方部材62の端部とが一体化される。内方部材対応面62に硬度が内方部材8の端部よりも高い凸部41を形成し、内方部材8の端部に凸部41の押圧により径方向に延びる凹部42を形成して凹凸嵌合構造Mを構成する。外側継手部材32と内方部材8とを固定ボルト51を介して分離可能に連結した。

Claims (6)
- 複列の転がり軸受と等速自在継手とがユニット化され、
前記複列の転がり軸受が、内周に複列の外側軌道面が形成された外方部材と、外周に前記複列の外側軌道面に対向する内側軌道面が形成された内方部材と、この内方部材と前記外方部材の両軌道面間に転動自在に収容された複列のボールとを備えるとともに、内方部材に等速自在継手の外側継手部材が連結された駆動車輪用軸受装置において、
前記外側継手部材は、内側継手部材が収容されるマウス部を備え、このマウス部の内方部材対応面と、内方部材のインボード側端部とが一体化される凹凸嵌合構造を備え、内方部材のインボード側端部または外側継手部材のマウス部の内方部材対応面のどちらか一方に硬度が他方の硬度よりも高い径方向に延びる凸部を形成し、他方に凸部の押圧により凸部に嵌合する径方向に延びる凹部を形成して、凸部と凹部との嵌合接触部位全域が密着する前記凹凸嵌合構造を構成し、
外側継手部材と内方部材とを軸方向の抜け防止用固定ボルトを介して分離可能に連結したことを特徴とする駆動車輪用軸受装置。 - 前記外側継手部材のマウス部の内方部材対応面に、径方向に延びる複数の凸条と径方向に延びる複数の凹条とが周方向に沿って交互に配設されるフェイススプラインを形成し、このフェイススプラインの径方向に延びる凸条を前記凹凸嵌合構造の凸部としたことを特徴とする請求項1の駆動車輪用軸受装置。
- 前記内方部材のインボード側端部に、径方向に延びる複数の凸条と径方向に延びる複数の凹条とが周方向に沿って交互に配設されるフェイススプラインを形成し、このフェイススプラインの径方向に延びる凸条を前記凹凸嵌合構造の凸部としたことを特徴とする請求項1の駆動車輪用軸受装置。
- 前記内方部材が、一端部に車輪取付フランジを一体に有し、外周に前記複列の外側軌道面に対向する一方の内側軌道面を有するハブ輪と、このハブ輪に外嵌され、外周に前記複列の外側軌道面に対向する他方の内側軌道面を有する内輪とで構成され、
前記ハブ輪のインボード側端部を径方向外方に塑性変形させて加締部を形成して、この加締部にてマウス部の内方部材対応面と一体化される内方部材のインボード側端部を構成したことを特徴とする請求項1〜請求項3のいずれか1項の駆動車輪用軸受装置。 - 前記内方部材が、一端部に車輪取付フランジを一体に有し、外周に前記複列の外側軌道面に対向する一方の内側軌道面を有するハブ輪と、このハブ輪に内嵌され、外周に前記複列の外側軌道面に対向する他方の内側軌道面を有する円筒部材とで構成され、
前記ハブ輪の内周に硬化した凹凸部が形成され、前記円筒部材の嵌合部を拡径して前記凹凸部に食い込ませ、前記ハブ輪と円筒部材とを一体に塑性結合して、
前記円筒部材のマウス部側の端部にてマウス部の内方部材対応面と一体化される内方部材のインボード側端部を構成したことを特徴とする請求項1〜請求項3のいずれか1項の駆動車輪用軸受装置。 - 前記凸部の硬度を、相手部材の硬度よりも、HRCで30ポイント以上高くしたことを特徴とする請求項1〜請求項5のいずれか1項の駆動車輪用軸受装置。
