Abstract

 厚いシリコン半導体基板に薄い裏面電極層を形成する場合または薄いシリコン半導体基板に薄い裏面電極層を形成する場合のいずれに用いても従来と同等以上のBSF効果を達成することができ、薄いシリコン半導体基板に薄い裏面電極層を形成するために用いた場合には従来と同等以上のBSF効果を達成するとともに従来のペースト組成物で薄い裏面電極層を形成した場合よりも焼成後のシリコン半導体基板の変形を抑制することが可能なペースト組成物とそれを用いて形成された電極を備えた太陽電池素子を提供する。ペースト組成物は、導電性粉末としてアルミニウム粉末を含むペースト組成物であって、アルミニウム粉末が薄片状アルミニウム粒子を含む。太陽電池素子は、上記のペースト組成物をシリコン半導体基板(1)の裏面上に塗布した後、焼成することにより形成した裏面電極(8)を備える。
