Abstract

本発明は、接着材ペーストを充填する際に接着材ペーストの流動性が低くなることを防止して、作業効率よく接着材ペースト層を形成することのできるハニカム構造体の製造方法を提供することを目的とするものであり、本発明のハニカム構造体の製造方法は、原料組成物を成形することにより、多数のセルがセル壁を隔てて長手方向に並設された柱状のハニカム成形体を作製する成形工程と、上記ハニカム成形体を焼成してハニカム焼成体を作製する焼成工程と、保水剤を含む保水性接着材ペーストを調製する保水性接着材ペースト調製工程と、複数の上記ハニカム焼成体を上記保水性接着材ペーストを用いて接着してハニカム集合体を作製する接着工程とを含むことを特徴とする。
