Abstract

L'invention porte sur un support d'enregistrement magnétique vertical comprenant un substrat non magnétique et au moins une couche de support, une couche de commande d'alignement, une couche d'enregistrement magnétique et une couche protectrice disposée sur le substrat non magnétique. Le support d'enregistrement magnétique vertical est caractérisé par le fait que la couche d'enregistrement magnétique comprend deux couches ou plus et comprend, vu du côté du substrat non magnétique, une première couche d'enregistrement magnétique et une seconde couche d'enregistrement magnétique, l'énergie d'anisotropie magnétique cristalline, Ku, n'est pas inférieure à 4 x 106 erg/cc pour la première couche d'enregistrement magnétique et non supérieure à 2 x 106 erg/cc pour la seconde couche d'enregistrement magnétique, la première couche d'enregistrement magnétique comprend un joint de grain composé de grains cristallins d'alliage magnétique CoCrPtRu et un oxyde, et la surface de joint de grain dans la première couche d'enregistrement magnétique n'est de pas plus de 30 % de la surface entière telle que mesurée par observation sous un microscope électronique à transmission (TEM) plan.
