 cMUTセルアレイに均一かつ安定的な特性を与え、音響特性の向上を図る。  通常の送受信を行いうるトランスデューサとして設計され製造されるcMUTセルの2次元アレイ101の最外周部もしくは端の位置に位置するセル102に、追加してセルの変位や振動や信号の送受を遮断するための、信号遮断部を設ける。
