Definitions

  • the present invention relates in general to methods and apparatuses for trigger negotiation and in particular to methods and apparatuses for trigger parameter determination in Secure User Plane Location (SUPL).
  • SUPL Secure User Plane Location
  • the Secure user plane location is a standardized solution for Assisted Global Positioning System (A-GPS), which is developed by the Open Mobile Alliance (OMA). Whereas other A-GPS systems may be proprietary the OMA standard enables positioning service to be used on any, or close to any, A-GPS capable mobile phone on in practice any mobile network.
