Abstract

　光半導体デバイス１では、光半導体素子５が収容されるパッケージを構成する収容部材２と挟持部材９とが、樹脂により形成されており、光半導体素子５が発光又は受光する光を略透過する光透過部材８を挟持した状態で、互いにレーザ溶着されている。従って、光半導体デバイス１によれば、光透過部材８の材質に拘わらず光透過部材８を樹脂製のパッケージに確実に設けることができる。
