Abstract

部品点数の削減等を図ることのできる動力伝達装置を提供する。ブラシレスモータ１２の回転トルクをステアリングシャフトの出力軸に減速して伝える減速ギヤ機構１４がギヤハウジング８内に収容され、ブラシレスモータ１２の回転角を検出するレゾルバ１６がギヤハウジング８内に設けられた電動パワーステアリング装置において、レゾルバ１６のステータ１６ｂに、ギヤハウジング８の外部に突出する外部接続端子１７を設け、外部接続端子１７を介してレゾルバ１６がギヤハウジング８の外部に設けられたモータ制御ユニット１３と電気的に接続されている。
