Abstract

 ニッケルおよびマンガンを含み、酸素の最密充填構造を有するリチウム含有遷移金属酸化物を含み、リチウム含有遷移金属酸化物に含まれるリチウムのモル数MLiと、遷移金属のモル数Mtとの原子比:MLi/MTが、1.0より大きく、リチウム含有遷移金属酸化物が、六方晶に帰属される結晶構造を有し、結晶構造のX線回折像が、(003)面に帰属されるピークP003と、(104)面に帰属されるピークP104とを有し、リチウム含有遷移金属酸化物によるリチウムの吸蔵および放出に伴い、ピークP003とピークP104との積分強度比:I003/I104が、0.7~1.5の範囲内の領域で可逆的に変化し、積分強度比の変化が、直線的かつ連続的である、非水電解質二次電池用活物質。
