Abstract

L'invention concerne un raccord à compression convenant pour le raccordement de tuyaux d'acier nouvellement installés. Il comprend un corps à filetage externe comprenant un passage interne d'introduction d'un tuyau, et un siège formé autour du passage, une bague d'étanchéité élastomère ou polymère adjacente au siège, un écrou venant s'accoupler avec le filetage externe et poussant ainsi la bague d'étanchéité vers le siège, le corps comprenant une butée dirigée vers l'intérieur, placée dans le passage, agencée de façon à empêcher l'insertion plus avant du tuyau, et un élément compressible ou déformable placé devant la butée. Le raccord peut en outre comprendre une bague de préhension dont la face axiale interne porte des dents périphériques dirigées vers l'intérieur, adjacente à l'écrou de façon à venir s'appliquer sur l'extérieur d'un tuyau inséré à travers l'écrou et dans le passage, et contribuer à empêcher le retrait du tuyau lorsqu'il est soumis à des forces longitudinales.
