L'invention concerne un collier de cordon destiné à être serré autour d'un cordon électrique, le cordon entrant dans un connecteur ou un appareil électrique, le collier de cordon comprenant une partie de corps (ci-après désignée par corps) d'un connecteur ou d'un appareil électrique comprenant une ouverture pour cordon à travers laquelle le cordon entre dans le connecteur ou l'appareil, un élément de collier annulaire comprenant une extrémité proximale annulaire alignable autour d'une ouverture pour cordon dans le corps lorsque l'élément de collier est en place relativement au corps, définissant un passage axialement dans l'élément de collier de ladite extrémité proximale à une extrémité distale de l'élément de collier, et une pluralité d'éléments de contact avec le cordon radialement espacés autour dudit passage dans l'élément de collier, et une bague annulaire pouvant venir en contact avec le corps de sorte qu'un alésage dans la bague annulaire s'aligne axialement avec l'ouverture pour cordon et le passage dans l'élément de collier, l'intérieur de la bague annulaire étant conçu pour venir en prise avec les éléments de contact avec le cordon de l'élément de collier lorsque la bague annulaire est mise en prise sur le corps afin d'amener les éléments de contact avec le cordon à fléchir les uns vers les autres autour de ladite extrémité proximale de l'élément de collier.
