Abstract

　小型化が可能な、発光素子アレイを備える発光装置を提供する。発光装置は、発光電極４、制御電極５および基準電位電極６を有し、発光電極４に発光信号が与えられていて、かつ制御電極５に制御信号が与えられているときに発光する複数の発光用サイリスタＴを有し、発光電極４が相互に接続される複数の発光素子ブロックＢに分割される発光素子アレイ１と、発光電極４に発光信号を与えたときに、各発光素子ブロックＢに含まれる発光用サイリスタＴが個別に発光可能となるように制御電極５に電気的に接続される複数の信号伝送路ＧＨと、発光素子アレイ１が基準電位電極６を表面に臨ませて搭載され、発光信号および制御信号のうち少なくともいずれか１つを出力する駆動用回路が形成される回路形成基板２と、回路形成基板２上で相互に隣接する発光用サイリスタＴの間の部位に少なくとも設けられて、各基準電位電極６を相互に接続する導体部３とを備える。
