Abstract

 小型化が可能な、発光素子アレイを備える発光装置を提供する。発光装置は、発光電極4、制御電極5および基準電位電極6を有し、発光電極4に発光信号が与えられていて、かつ制御電極5に制御信号が与えられているときに発光する複数の発光用サイリスタTを有し、発光電極4が相互に接続される複数の発光素子ブロックBに分割される発光素子アレイ1と、発光電極4に発光信号を与えたときに、各発光素子ブロックBに含まれる発光用サイリスタTが個別に発光可能となるように制御電極5に電気的に接続される複数の信号伝送路GHと、発光素子アレイ1が基準電位電極6を表面に臨ませて搭載され、発光信号および制御信号のうち少なくともいずれか1つを出力する駆動用回路が形成される回路形成基板2と、回路形成基板2上で相互に隣接する発光用サイリスタTの間の部位に少なくとも設けられて、各基準電位電極6を相互に接続する導体部3とを備える。
