Abstract

 本発明は、(1)炭素以外の金属不純物としてFeを6質量%以下、Vを3質量%以下以外含有し、FeとV以外の金属元素を実質的に含まないカーボンナノファイバー、(2)炭素担体にFeとVを担持した触媒と炭素含有化合物を高温下で接触させることを特徴とする前記カーボンナノファイバーの製造方法、及び(3)前記カーボンナノファイバーを配合した樹脂複合体、及び(4)その用途に関する。本発明によれば、金属不純物量が少なく、少量の添加で導電性が発現できる安価な炭素繊維フィラー材が得られる。
