Abstract

L'invention concerne un phare avec une coupure de faisceau réglable, qui convient par exemple pour des grands phares de véhicule. Ce phare comprend une source lumineuse à semi-conducteur (1) et un réflecteur (2), ainsi qu'un limiteur de faisceau mobile (3). Pour régler la coupure, ce limiteur de faisceau (3) peut être déplacé par un dispositif de commande (4). L'intérêt réside dans le fait que le limiteur de faisceau (3) réfléchit la lumière incidente dans le faisceau émis au lieu de l'absorber, ce qui accroît l'efficacité. Par ailleurs, comme le réflecteur (2) et le limiteur de faisceau (3) peuvent être positionnés très près de la source lumineuse, qui peut être une DEL ou une diode laser, ils peuvent être plats et très petits. Ces deux circonstances permettent de régler très rapidement la coupure de faisceau.
