Abstract

　光素子（３２０）と、この光素子を実装する実装基板（３１０）と、この実装基板に接続され、光素子と光学的に結合する光コネクタ（４００）とを有する光電変換接続装置（１００）に於いて、光コネクタ（４００）は、実装基板（３１０）の、光素子の実装面（３１０ｂ）とは反対側の面（３１０ａ）に設けられており、光素子（３２０）が露出している。光電変換接続装置（１００）は、主面（２１０ａ）を持つマザー基板（２１０）と、このマザー基板の主面上に実装される電気コネクタ（２２０）とを備える。電気コネクタ（２２０）は、実装基板（３１０）を着脱自在に接続可能である。
