Abstract

【課題】導光板から出射される光を所望の出射視野角に偏向制御することが可能な光制御素子を提供する。 【解決手段】本発明に係る光制御素子（プリズムシート）１１は、一方の面が入射面とされ、他方の面が出射面とされており、上記入射面は、プリズム部１１Ｐが多数平行に配列されて形成されている。プリズム部１１Ｐの各々は、光が入射される第１のプリズム面１１ａと、第１のプリズム面１１ａに入射した光を内面側で全反射させる第２のプリズム面１１ｂとを有している。第２のプリズム面１１ｂは、外方へ凸なる曲面形状を有し、その曲率は、当該第２のプリズム面が平坦面である場合の第１の出射視野角よりも広い第２の出射視野角となる大きさで形成されている。
