Abstract

従来の集光型太陽電池には、集光効率の限界と太陽光線追従性の困難、さらには設置スペースの制約等の問題点があるため、これらを適正化し、生産性が良好で、安価な集光シート型太陽電池を開発する。本発明に係る集光シート型太陽電池は、反射層と透明層とを有するプラスチックシートと、前記プラスチックシートの内部に配置された棒状又は球状の光電変換素子とを有することを特徴とする。この場合、太陽光線の当たる受光面から順に透明層、光電変換素子、反射層となるように配置する。このようにすると、透明層に進入した光は、直接、または反射層で反射された後に光電変換素子に到達するだけではなく、大気と透明層の界面で反射し、透明層に閉じ込められたものも光電変換素子に容易に到達する。
