Abstract

L'invention porte sur des 3-aryl-6-aryl-7H-[l,2,4]triazolo[3,4-b][1,3,4]thiadiazoles aet leurs composés associés représentés par la formule I: (I) dont Ar1, Ar2, et X sont définis dans la description. L'invention porte sur une découverte selon laquelle les composés de formule (I) sont des activateurs de caspases et des inducteurs d'apoptose. Donc, les activateurs de caspases et les inducteurs d'apoptose de l'invention peuvent être utilisés pour entraîner la mort cellulaire dans une variété d'états cliniques où se produisent une croissance non contrôlée et la diffusion de cellules anormales.
