Definitions
- the invention relates to a vacuum cleaner with a centrifugal separator according to the preamble of claim 1.
- both the dust collectors and centrifugal separators are generally very simple.
- these vacuum cleaners are developed by further developing conventional vacuum bagged vacuum cleaners.
- priority is that as many components of the conventional vacuum cleaner can be adopted without changes.
- the object of the invention is therefore to develop a vacuum cleaner with a removable dust collector so that the dust collector is removed separately from the centrifugal separator, but at the same time as simple, inexpensive and user-friendly design of the vacuum cleaner can be maintained.
- This object is achieved according to the invention by a vacuum cleaner with a centrifugal separator with the features of claim 1. Further advantageous embodiments are part of Subclaims in connection with the description and the drawings.
- the centrifugal separator is connected to the lid of the vacuum cleaner in a so-called bagless vacuum cleaner. So he is supported on the lid and can be removed together with this.
- the vacuum cleaner cover can completely cover the centrifugal separator, so that no special design requirements are to be placed on the separator.
- the appearance of the vacuum cleaner is primarily characterized by the lid, which is to be designed as a design part. The arranged under the lid components can be shaped very easily. As a result, the centrifugal separator can be developed under purely functional aspects. There are no optical requirements for its structure. This saves design and manufacturing costs.
- centrifugal separator which is designed as a purely functional part, can be adopted in the existing form.
- the centrifugal separator attached to the lid is automatically removed from the dust collector with the vacuum cleaner lid when the vacuum cleaner is opened to empty the dust collector.
- the bagless vacuum cleaner is very user-friendly.
- the centrifugal separator is releasably attached to the vacuum cleaner cover. This allows the centrifugal separator easily from the lid be disconnected, for example, if he has to be self-serviced due to a blockage.
- the releasable attachment may preferably consist in a latching connection.
- a locking connection consisting of locking tab and locking hooks is a very cost-effective easy to install attachment and thus helps to keep the manufacturing costs low.
- the detachable connection can also be designed as a screw connection, which is particularly useful when the vacuum cleaner belongs to a higher-class model and should make a more robust impression on the operator.
- centrifugal separator and vacuum cleaner cover are integrally formed.
- This one-piece combination part can be preferably made of plastic in one step in an injection molding process. This allows a particularly cost-effective production and preferably lends itself to a favorable model line of the vacuum cleaner.
- centrifugal separator-carrying lid of the vacuum cleaner is pivotally mounted on the vacuum cleaner base.
- vacuum cleaner lid and centrifugal separator for emptying the dust collector can be easily folded user-friendly and remain with the lower part in conjunction so that no loose parts dropped in between and then reused.
- the vacuum cleaner preferably has two centrifugal separators operated in parallel, with both centrifugal separators being connected directly or indirectly to the vacuum cleaner cover.
- the separation efficiency of the vacuum cleaner can be increased and the vacuum cleaner operated quieter than only with a separator.
- two smaller separators can preferably be operated in parallel.
- the use of smaller separators allows a more compact overall element than would allow only a centrifugal separator, which would have to be made significantly larger in order to bring about a corresponding performance. Also, the distribution of weight on the lid is more uniform, if two smaller centrifugal separators are attached to it. This allows the lid to be pivoted easier.
- Centrifugal separator can be set slightly higher and leaves a larger dust collection space for the dust collector, so that the capacity for dust collection is increased.
- Figure 1 A sectional view through an inventive
- Figure 1 shown vacuum cleaner and Figure 3: a detail section corresponding to that shown in Figure 2 but with a different fastening.
- Figure 1 shows a sectional view of the interior of a vacuum cleaner according to the invention.
- a vacuum cleaner cover 2 On a vacuum cleaner base 1, a vacuum cleaner cover 2 is pivotally mounted about a pivot axis 3.
- a fan 4 for sucking the air
- a centrifugal separator 5 for separating the dust from the sucked dust-laden air
- a dust collecting box 6 for collecting the dust separated from the centrifugal separator 5 are disposed.
- the dust-laden air which is sucked in via a suction pipe, not shown, enters the centrifugal separator 5 via the inlet region 7 and a second mirror-image centrifugal separator 5, which is not shown in the illustration.
- the incoming air is set in a rotational movement, whereby the dust is forced by centrifugal forces to the wall of the centrifugal separator 5.
- an outlet 8 At the inlet side 7 opposite side of the centrifugal separator 5 is an outlet 8 for the separated dust.
- the outlet 8 can be seen in the detail shown in Figure 2, in which the dust box 6 has been omitted and therefore the entire centrifugal separator 5 is visible.
- the purified air from the dust leaves via a non-illustrated air inlet side in the center of the centrifugal 5 arranged air outlet the centrifugal 5 and passes through a not visible in the figure fine dust filter in the vacuum chamber 9, from which the purified air through the fan 4 to the environment becomes.
- the centrifugal separator 5 is attached via a snap-in connection 10 on the vacuum cleaner cover.
- the latching connection 10 has a latching hook 11, which is attached to the centrifugal separator 5 and which engages in a provided on the vacuum cleaner cover 2 locking tab 12.
- FIG. 1 shows as well as Figure 2 shows a detail of a vacuum cleaner according to the invention, in which in particular the connection of centrifugal 5 and vacuum cleaner cover 2 can be seen.
- this is a further embodiment in which the connection is realized via a screw connection 13.
- vacuum cleaner cover 2 and centrifugal 5 have fasteners that are connected by a screw. Since a removal of the centrifugal separator 5 is necessary only in exceptional cases when the centrifugal separator 5 is clogged, such a slightly more stable attachment may be useful.
