Abstract
Die Erfindung betrifft eine Brennkraftmaschine (1), insbesondere mit zumindest zwei Zylindergruppen (1a, 1b), mit zweistufiger Aufladung mit zumindest einem ersten Abgasturbolader (2) mit einem ersten Verdichter (4) und einem zweiten Abgasturbolader (3) mit einem zweiten Verdichter (5), wobei erster und zweiter Verdichter (4, 5) in einem Einlassstrang (6) hintereinander geschaltet sind, wobei zwischen erstem und zweitem Verdichter (4, 5) ein erster Ladeluftkühler (7) und stromabwärts des zweiten Verdichters (5) zumindest ein zweiter Ladeluftkühler (8) angeordnet ist. Um die Ladeluftkühlung zu verbessern, Bauraum einzusparen und eine kostengünstige Fertigung zu ermöglichen, ist vorgesehen, dass der zweite Verdichter (5) umgehbar ist.
