Abstract

La présente invention concerne des émulsions comprenant, en pourcentage en masse par rapport à la masse totale de Ia composition : (a) 70% a 81 % d'eau ; (b) 0,1% a 5% d'un agent gélifiant de la phase aqueuse de l'émulsion ; (c) 0,75% a 2% de métronidazole ; (d) 4% a 10% d'huile minérale ; (e) 0,5% a 10% d'un agent tensioactif ; (f) 0,5% a 5% d'un acide gras ; (g) 0,1% a 5% d'un agent conservateur ; et (h) 0 a 5% d'un promoteur d'absorption du métronidazole. L'invention concerne également des mousses à base de métronidazole obtenues à partir de ces émulsions, ainsi que leur utilisation dermatologique.

40REVENDICATIONS MODIFIÉES reçues par le Bureau international le 27 Mars 2007 (27.03.2007)
1. Composition à base de métronidazole choisie parmi les compositions suivantes :

2. Procédé de préparation d'une composition selon la revendication 1 , comprenant les étapes successives suivantes : - on prépare un milieu aqueux A comprenant l'eau (a), l'agent gélifiant (b), le métronidazole (c), le tensioactif (e), et, le cas échéant, le promoteur d'absorption (h) ;
- on prépare un milieu hydrophobe H comprenant l'huile minérale (d), et tout autre constituant de la phase grasse ; - on mélange les milieux A et H ainsi obtenus, et on émulsifie le système ainsi formé ;
- le conservateur (g) est ajouté en fin d'émulsification ;
- mélange de l'émulsion obtenue avec un gaz.
3. Utilisation d'une composition selon la revendication 1 , pour la préparation d'une mousse dermatologique destinée au traitement prophylactique ou thérapeutique d'une affection cutanée, par voie topique. 44
4. Utilisation selon la revendication 3, pour la préparation d'une mousse dermatologique destinée au traitement de la rosacée.
