Abstract

The invention relates to a portable digital electronic device for reproducing music pre-recorded by record companies. The inventive device is equipped with an electronic circuit comprising digital reproduction and recording elements, as well as a horn and an outlet for headphones, plus the headphones. A specific area of the outer part of the casing of the device is provided with graphic design elements and discography marketing information as a means for identifying and promoting the artist. The device differs from existing devices in that the latter require the end user of the product to make the recording and in that said devices do not contain any marketing information identifying a particular musical product. With the inventive device, however, the content of a specific musical production is recorded, the outer part of the case is printed with images and graphic elements relating to said specific musical production and it is sold in shops in the form of an audio CD. The invention is suitable for use in the electronics industry, particularly in audio reproduction, and has been specifically designed for the sale of recorded music.
