Figur 1 zeigt eine perspektivische Darstellung eines Besteckkorbs 1 gemäß einer bevorzugten Ausführungsform der vorliegenden Erfindung zur Ablage von Besteckteilen 2. Der in den Figuren 1 und 2 gezeigte Besteckkorb 1 ist für den Einsatz in einem nicht gezeigten Geschirrkorb geeignet. Der erfindungsgemäße Besteckkorb 1 umfasst Lamellen 3 zur geeigneten Anordnung und Vereinzelung der Besteckteile 1. An den Lamellen 3 sind Querstreben 4 angeordnet, an denen teilweise Fortsätzen 5 angeordnet sind. Die Querstreben 4 und die Fortsätze 5 bilden einen Haken und sind jeweils in derselben Richtung ausgerichtet. Die Fortsätze 5 sind dabei senkrecht zur Einschubrichtung ausgerichtet, in der die Besteckteile 2 in den Besteckkorb 1 eingeführt werden.Figure 1 shows a perspective view of a cutlery basket 1 according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention for storing cutlery 2. Teilweise sind an den Querstreben 4 noch Fortsätze 5 angeordnet. Die Fortsätze 5 sind jeweils paarweise auf gegenüberliegenden Seiten und in gleichen Abständen an den Querstreben 4 angeordnet, die alternativ auch mit einem ende schräg nach unten gerichtet sein können. Auf diese Weise wird ein offenes Besteckkorbgitter gebildet, das eine optimale Vereinzelung der Besteckteile 2 im Besteckkorb 1 ermöglicht. Aufgrund der Ausrichtung der Fortsätze 5 in einer Richtung, kann der Besteckkorb 1 auf eine Seitenwand 6 gelegt werden, so dass die Fortsätze 5 nach unten gerichtet sind. Dadurch können die Besteckteile 2 im Besteckkorb 1 durch das offene Besteckkorbgitter an den mit den Querstreben 5 aufweisenden Lamellen 4 und an den mit den Fortsätzen 5 aufweisenden Querstreben 4 vorbei nach unten fallen und sich dort sammeln, was die Entnahme der Besteckteile 2 aus dem Besteckkorb 1 erleichtert. Das Abgleiten der Besteckteile 2 an den Lamellen 3 vorbei kann noch dadurch begünstigt werden, wenn die Querstreben 4 und die an den Querstreben 4 angeordneten Fortsätze 5 nicht in einem rechten Winkel sondern in einem schrägen Winkel bezüglich der Fallrichtung der Besteckteile 2 angeordnet sind.
