Abstract

Le sperme humain contient du facteur tissulaire (TF, Thromboplastine, CD142) et un inhibiteur naturel de la voie dépendante du TF, l'inhibiteur de la voie du facteur tissulaire (TFPI), présent dans le plasma séminal, le sperme sélectionné par migration ascendante (swim-up) et les prostasomes. On a constaté que les taux de TFPI étaient significativement plus élevés chez les hommes normaux que chez les sujets présentant une hypofertilité (p<0,01), ou chez les sujets vasectomisés (p<0,001). La présente invention concerne une méthode de diagnostic pratiquée in vitro, consistant à obtenir un échantillon de sperme d'un sujet mâle et à mesurer le taux de TFPI qu'il contient. Ce taux est ensuite comparé à un niveau de référence. Une valeur mesurée se situant en dessous du niveau de référence indique un faible niveau de fécondité chez le sujet. Une trousse de matériel permettant la mise en oeuvre de cette méthode de diagnostic est également décrite.
