Abstract

The invention relates to a mobile telephone charger for two-wheel motor vehicles. A signal transmitted by a motorcycle alternator is rectified (E1) and subsequently processed by two successive adjustment and stabilisation stages. Said adjustment and stabilisation stages are based on two series-connected integrated circuits LM 317 (E31, E32), wherein the first circuit (E31) reduces a voltage in such a way that it is equal to or less that 42 V and the second circuit (E32) is used for stabilising the desired output voltage of 12 V.

Description

Figure imgf000002_0001
Figure imgf000002_0001

The present invention is characterized by a mobile phone charger for use in two-wheeled motor vehicles.

The constantly growing development of different technologies, in this case, the mobile phone, which has become very widespread, provides limited services to people who travel on motorized two-wheeled vehicles.

We were brought to serve these people by the invention of a system allowing them to use their mobile phone in all circumstances and without restriction.

Every mobile phone has a wide variety of chargers to promote wide availability. However, no charger is intended for motorcyclists or cyclists to allow them to charge their phones while traveling.

The present invention is characterized for this purpose by a mobile phone charger which will allow motorcyclists to ride in peace, without fear of disabling handicap of the battery of their phone.

Le chargeur de téléphone portable objet de la présente invention s'adapte à tous types de batteries et à tous types de téléphones portablesThe mobile phone charger object of the present invention adapts to all types of batteries and to all types of mobile phones

The charger is easily mounted on a motorcycle, its armature being the negative terminal of its input, it will be necessary to connect only the positive input terminal to the output of the alternator (this output being none other than any positive terminal: lights supply, horn, etc ...).

If necessary, the user connects his phone to the charger via an intermediate cable and activates the charge using an integrated switch. An indicator light appears indicating that the charger is powered by an electrical source.

DESCRIPTION PU FONCTIONNEMENT.;.In order to avoid damaging the mobile phone-charger connection, following an oversight, an output cable has been designed. This stretches outwards from the charger by the simple pulling force which will have the effect of notifying the user of his forgetfulness and will then disconnect his device. DESCRIPTION OF OPERATION.;.

Ce signal de forme alternative, non sinusoïdale, sera traité comme suit et conformément à la Figure II :The charger object of the present invention has an input capable of being supplied by an electric source of variable voltage, by variation of the engine speed, in a voltage range which can go from 15 to 100 volts and more. This signal of alternative form, not sinusoidal, will be treated as follows and in accordance with Figure II:

Redressement :Straightening:

Stage El (Figures lu and IV): necessary to obtain a positive voltage from an AC supply voltage.

Filtrage :Filtering:

The filtration stage E2 (Figures IV and V) makes it possible to have a continuous signal of good quality, therefore at a ripple rate tending towards zero. The regulation stage E3 (Figures VI and VII) is the most important and delicate stage Ie taking into account that the input voltage available, has a very large range of variation over time (15 - ^ 100 Volts approximately) for a continuous output voltage, stable over time and adjustable from 5 to 12 Volts. To do this, this function was carried out by two stages E31 and E32 (Figures VI and VII) which are in fact, a first regulation at 42 Volts and a second, adjustable according to the type of telephone, at an output voltage included in the interval [5 V, 12V].

Since the input is signal B (Figure V), the two simultaneous outputs of the two regulators will be the output signal from stage E31 (Figure VI) and the output signal from stage E32 (Figure VII).
