Abstract

Disclosed is a device preventing fingers from getting caught in a door leaf of a sectional door or folding door, said door leaf comprising hingedly interconnected sections. The opposite faces (17, 18) of the sections (15, 16) are embodied in such a way that fingers are prevented from getting caught on both the outside (19) and the inside (20) of the door leaf of the sectional door even when the adjacent sections (15, 16) are placed at a pivoting angle of 75o or 135o in relation to the initial position relative to each other.
