Abstract

Eine Schuhpresse (10) einer Maschine zur Herstellung oder Behandlung einer Faserstoffbahn (18), insbesondere Papier- oder Kartonbahn, umfasst eine Schuhpresseinheit (12), die zumindest einen Pressschuh (24) sowie einen über diesen geführtes flexibles Pressband (22) aufweist und mit einer bewegten Gegenfläche (14) einen in Bahnlaufrichtung verlängerten Pressspalt (16) bildet, wobei der Bereich zwischen dem Pressschuh (24) und dem Pressband (22) mit Schmierfluid versorgt ist. Zumindest ein Teil des Pressschuhs (24) der Schuhpresseinheit (12) ist durch eine thermische Isolierschicht (34) von dem Schmierfluid getrennt. Die thermische Isolierschicht (34) kann gleichzeitig auch eine erhöhte Kompressibilität und/oder erhöhte Dämpfungseigenschaften aufweisen.
