Abstract

The invention relates to a device for adjusting the position of a tool which is fixed to the arm of a digger or similar. The invention is characterised in that the aforementioned tool can pivot around the axis of a shaft (4) which is supported by the arm of the appliance and in that the tool can be immobilised in relation to the arm, said axis being disposed essentially in the vertical plane containing the arm. Moreover, the tool can be moved along the axis of the shaft (4) against the action of an opposing spring (5), said movement unlocking the tool and allowing same to pivot. The shaft (4) passes through the nested wings of two bolts (8 and 9). One of said bolts (8) is fixed to the arm at the centre thereof, while the other (9) is fixed to the tool at the centre thereof. The above-mentioned spring (5) is disposed between the inner wings of the bolts and, when released, said spring clamps the two parts of a locking member.
