Abstract

The present invention provides a cell phone (10) which has a display (12) and three controls (24, 26, 28) but is devoid of a keypad. The cell phone is only able to make calls to the numbers which are stored on its SIM card. One of these numbers is that of an emergency call centre to which a call can be made in an emergency. There is a database, which is automatically accessed and the information therein displayed to an operator, when a call is made to the call centre.
