Definitions
- the present invention relates to a mesh compartment insert system.
- Lattice compartment inserts are ner packaging parts for ner packaging purposes, for example as an insert in containers, containers, boxes for the occasional packaging of articles.
- Containers with lattice compartment inserts for the occasional insertion of articles are often required in industry in order to have the required product parts available quickly and easily in production processes and to avoid cumbersome packing and unpacking.
- Previous grid compartment inserts made of corrugated cardboard or gray cardboard can only be used to manufacture one compartment size. If individual longitudinal or transverse side webs are removed from the lattice compartment insert, this means such a considerable loss of stability that the packaging no longer meets the quality requirements.
- the invention is therefore based on the object of providing lattice compartment inserts in which the compartment size can be varied depending on the article to be packaged.
- this object is achieved according to a first solution by means of a grid compartment insert plug-in system with at least two longitudinal side webs and at least two transverse side webs, each having comb-like slots on one side, the longitudinal and transverse side webs being produced from double-sided corrugated cardboard with CB corrugation. Furthermore, this object is achieved according to a second solution by a mesh insert system with at least two longitudinal side webs and at least two transverse side webs, each having comb-like slots on one side, the longitudinal and transverse side webs being made of corrugated cardboard with a carbon lamination.
- this object is achieved by a lattice compartment insert plug-in system with at least two longitudinal side webs and at least two transverse side webs, each having comb-like slots on one side, the longitudinal and transverse side webs being made of plastic.
- the corrugated cardboard is advantageously insensitive to splash water.
- the carbon lamination is applied to both sides of the corrugated cardboard.
- the carbon lamination advantageously has a weight per square meter in the range of 10-200 g.
- the corrugated cardboard advantageously has a weight per square meter in the range of 50-1000 g.
- the plastic is a polyolefin.
- the polyolefin is polyethylene or polypropylene.
- the plastic is expediently made from recycled material. Conveniently, the plastic is sorted.
- the plastic advantageously has a weight per square meter in the range of 50-500 g.
- the longitudinal and transverse side webs advantageously have an anti-slip coating applied on one or both sides.
- the anti-slip coating has a weight per square meter in the range of 20-50 g.
- the plastic is provided with at least one flame retardant additive.
- the plastic is advantageously provided with at least one fiber additive. This serves to improve the stiffness or strength of the plastic.
- the corrugated cardboard is made of the following materials: a kraft liner with a weight of 200 g / m2, a corrugated material with a weight of 115 g / square meter, a test liner with a weight of 170 g / m2, a corrugated material with a weight of 140 g / m2 and a kraft liner with a weight of 150g.
- a kraft liner with a weight of 200 g / m2 a corrugated material with a weight of 115 g / square meter
- a test liner with a weight of 170 g / m2
- a corrugated material with a weight of 140 g / m2 a kraft liner with a weight of 150g.
- the arrangement of the materials is not defined by the preceding list.
- At least one of the long side webs and / or at least one of the short side webs advantageously has a length of 1,375 mm.
- the slots in the longitudinal side web and or in the transverse side web are arranged in its longitudinal direction such that transverse side webs or longitudinal side webs can be inserted equidistantly at the following intervals: 166, 190, 223, 269, 339 and 454 mm.
- the slots are arranged equidistantly.
- At least one longitudinal side web and / or at least one transverse side web has 47 slots.
- At least one longitudinal side web and / or at least one of the transverse side webs has a length of 1,055 mm.
- the slots in the longitudinal side web and / or in the transverse side web are advantageously arranged in its longitudinal direction such that transverse side webs or longitudinal side webs can be inserted equidistantly at the following intervals: 126, 145, 170, 205, 259 and 347mm.
- the slots are arranged equidistantly.
- At least one longitudinal side web and / or at least one transverse side web has 35 slots.
- At least one of the longitudinal side webs and / or at least one of the transverse side webs has a length of 655 mm.
- the slots in the longitudinal side web and / or in the transverse side web are advantageously arranged in its longitudinal direction in such a way that transverse side webs or longitudinal side webs can be inserted equidistantly at the following distances: 76, 88, 103, 125, 159 and 214 mm. On the other hand, it can also be provided that the slots are arranged equidistantly.
- At least one longitudinal side web and / or at least one transverse side web has 23 slots.
- At least one of the longitudinal side webs and / or at least one of the transverse side webs advantageously has one of the following heights: 89, 108, 136, 183 and 276 mm.
- a further particular embodiment of the invention is characterized by additionally at least two longitudinal side webs with a length of 345 mm, at least two transverse side webs with a length of 212 mm and an intermediate layer with the dimensions 345 mm x 212 mm (L x W), the additional webs and the intermediate layer is made of gray cardboard.
- the gray cardboard conveniently has a weight of 400 g.
- the additional webs have a height of 45, 60 or 90 mm.
- Another special embodiment of the invention is characterized by at least one carton with the internal dimensions 345 mm x 212 mm x 183 mm (L x W x H).
- the cardboard has a maximum material thickness of 4 mm.
- the invention is based on the surprising finding that by using double-sided corrugated cardboard with a CB corrugated cardboard, corrugated cardboard with a carbon lamination or synthetic material, lattice compartment inserts with different compartment sizes can be produced (inserted). Furthermore, due to the increased stability, so-called edge ridges, as are necessary with grid inserts made of gray cardboard, can be dispensed with. On the other hand, by inserting a long side or transverse side bar into a first slot, cushioning materials can be dispensed with when packing heavier parts, as are used in the prior art for securing lattice compartment inserts without edge bars between the parts and the container wall.
- the mesh shelf insert system according to the invention has the advantages that fewer storage areas are required, since it is very variable and can therefore be adapted to many parts to be packaged. This means that the lattice compartment insert plug systems that have already been manufactured can continue to be used even in the event of changes to the parts to be packaged, so that less waste is produced.

- the intermediate layer 26 also consists of gray cardboard with a square meter weight of 400 g and has an area of 345 mm ⁇ 212 mm (L ⁇ W).
- Three layers of the smaller lattice compartment insert 24 can be inserted into each compartment 19 of the large lattice compartment insert 18. For packaging small quantities, the smaller grid compartment inserts 24 can be placed in a box (not shown).
- the box has the inside dimensions 345mm x 212mm x 183mm (L x W x H). With a maximum material thickness of 4mm, these boxes can be picked in the individual containers. Despite the relatively small number of variants (different lengths, different heights, different slot arrangements), the slots on the long and short side bars offer a wide variety of possible combinations different compartment sizes. This means that significantly less storage space is required for the packaging material.
