Abstract

La présente invention concerne un moyen d'accès qui permet d'accéder à une voiture et inversement, ce moyen d'accès étant constitué d'un logement (34, 58, 76, 110) dans lequel une plate-forme (22, 56, 74, 112) est mobile et peut passer d'une position dans laquelle la plate-forme (22, 56, 74, 112) s'étend à l'extérieur de la voiture et une position rangée dans laquelle la plate-forme (22, 56, 74, 112) ne sort pas de la voiture du train. La plate-forme (22, 56, 74, 112) peut alternativement se déplacer entre plusieurs positions déployées sur chaque côté de la voiture et peut être dépliée manuellement ou mécaniquement. Le pont comprend des rebords verticaux (26, 88) qui empêchent un véhicule à roues de rouler par dessus la plate-forme(22, 74), les rebords verticaux (26, 88) étant mobiles entre une position de fonctionnement dans laquelle les rebords verticaux (88) partent verticalement vers le haut depuis la plate-forme (22, 74) et une position de non utilisation dans laquelle les rebords verticaux (88) sont sensiblement parallèles à la surface supérieure de la plate-forme (22, 74). Les rebords verticaux (88) peuvent être utilisés sur n'importe quel moyen d'accès accessible en fauteuil roulant.
