Abstract

L'activité de gènes individuels constitue une question importante en biologie moléculaire. Pour déterminer l'activité de gènes individuels, on effectue fréquemment une PCR (réaction en chaîne de la polymérase) ou une RT-PCR (PCR inverse). La complexité réside dans le fait que la PCR est difficilement quantifiable. Le principe de l'invention consiste à utiliser la variation de la conductivité à mesurer pendant le déroulement de la PCR, en tant que marqueur pour déterminer la progression de la PCR et quantifier la quantité d'ADN initiale. L'appareil selon l'invention détermine les variations de conductivité « en ligne » pendant le déroulement de la PCR, au moyen de petites micro-électrodes plongées dans la solution de PCR. Sur la base de ce paramètre, cet appareil est en mesure de calculer la quantité d'ADN ou d'ARN avant le déroulement de la réaction.
