Also, the signal converting server 16 is connected to the consultant terminal 20 via the collect call telephone network, converts a speech tone transmitted from the collect call telephone network into a voice data to send to the telephone service providing web server 14, and converts a voice data transmitted from the telephone service providing web server 14 into a speech tone to send to the collect call telephone network.
  • the collect call telephone network comprises the PSTN 40 and the collect call telephone service providing system 18 managing the PSTN 40 for collecting telephone charges from the web service provider or the telephone service provider.
  • the collect call telephone service providing system 18 is preferably connected to the signal converting server via a leased line.
  • the collect call telephone network can be easily replaced with a private telephone network without departing from the technical spirit of the invention.
  • the consultant terminal 20 converts a voice signal of the consultant associated with an operator of the telephone service requesting web server 12 into a speech tone signal and transmits the converted sound signal via the collect call telephone network, and converts a speech tone signal received via the collect call telephone network into a voice signal and outputs the converted voice signal. Therefore, the consultant terminal 20 can be a common (wire/radio) telephone transceiver or a computer having call fransmitting/receiving functions.
  • the web server (hereinafter will be referred to as the "telephone service requesting web server 12") can include a telephone service requesting icon 50 as shown in FIG. 3 A in the HTML document transmitted to the customer computer 10 in order to comply with the customer request.
  • the telephone service requesting icon 50 is linked with the URL for connection to the telephone service providing web server 14 and the identifier of the consultant terminal 20.
  • the customer of the telephone service requesting web server 12 can click the telephone service requesting icon 50 on the HTML document displayed in the customer computer 10 when he/she wants to have a direct voice conversation with the preset consultant. Then, the customer computer 10 is hyper-linked to the URL linked to the telephone service requesting icon 50 to be connected with the telephone service providing web server 14 in step 210. Then, the telephone service providing web server 14 downloads a VoIP support program to the customer computer 10 in step 220, wherein the VoIP support program converts the voice signal of the customer into the voice data according to the VoIP to transmit the converted voice data via the Internet 30 and converts the voice data transmitted via the Internet 30 into the voice signal to output the converted voice signal.
  • the customer computer 10 transmits the identifier of the consultant terminal 20 to the telephone service providing web server 14, which reads out the telephone number of the consultant terminal 20 corresponding to the received identifier from the telephone number database.
  • the telephone service providing web server 14 uses the read-out telephone number of the consultant terminal 20 to set the communication channel between the customer computer 10 and the consultant terminal 20 via the collect call telephone network in step 230.
  • FIG. 3B is a window for showing that the VoIP support program 60 is setting the communication channel between the customer computer 10 and the consultant terminal 20.
  • step 240 when the voice information is transmitted or received between the customer computer 10 and the consultant terminal 20, the signal converting server 16 converts a speech tone transmitted from the collect call telephone network into a voice data to send to the telephone service providing web server 14, and converts a voice data transmitted from the telephone service providing web server 14 into a speech tone to send to the collect call telephone network.
  • the operator of the collect call telephone network demands telephone charges based upon the telephone number of the consultant terminal 20 to the operator of the telephone service providing web server 14, and the operator of the telephone service providing web server 14 collects the related telephone charges from the web service provider or the telephone service provider corresponding to the individual consultant terminal 20.
  • the present invention has bee described about the preferred embodiments thereof. It should be understood by those skilled in the art that a number of modifications and variations can be made without departing from substantial features of the invention. Therefore, the disclosed embodiments should be considered in the aspect of illustration rather than restriction. It should be understood that the scope of the invention appears in claims rather than in the foregoing specification, and equivalents of the claims are included in the invention.
  • a direct conversation with the customer in charge of the web service provider can be obtained in a simple way that the customer can confirm more detailed requirements about articles via the direct conversation in purchasing the articles via an Internet shopping mall.

Abstract

La présente invention concerne un système et un procédé de service de taxation au demandé entre un ordinateur client et un terminal consultant. On cherche à fournir un complément d'information sur un service web destiné à un client. A cet effet, on permet l'établissement d'une liaison par in clic de souris sur une icône dans une page web. Un serveur web demande la connexion d'un service téléphonique sur l'ordinateur client via l'Internet pour lui envoyer un document de service web incluant, d'une part une icône de demande de service téléphonique, et d'autre part un identificateur de terminal consultant. Un clic de souris sur l'icône de demande de service téléphonique suffit à connecter le serveur web du service téléphonique sur l'ordinateur client via l'Internet. Un serveur de conversion de signal prend une première donnée vocale provenant du serveur web du service téléphonique et le convertit en un premier signal vocal, puis il convertit en une seconde donnée vocale un second signal vocal. Enfin, un réseau de téléphone à taxation au demandé sert à établir un canal de communication entre le serveur de conversion de signal et le terminal consultant, le serveur de conversion de signal servant à échanger une donnée vocale avec l'ordinateur client.
