Abstract

Cette invention se rapporte aux techniques de recyclage (seconde utilisation) du caoutchouc, tels que des pneus usés de véhicules et d'autres produits caoutchouteux mécaniques divers. Cette invention concerne également des matériaux qui sont obtenus à partir de ces matières brutes secondaires. Le caoutchouc-OK se présente sous forme d'un vulcanisât broyé. La surface des particules du caoutchouc-OK est enrichie de groupes fonctionnels chimiquement actifs, notamment des groupes contenant de l'oxygène tels que des groupes carboxyle, hydroxyle, carbonyle et peroxyde. Les groupes actifs se trouvant à la surface des particules du caoutchouc-OK sont extraits du matériau de départ du vulcanisât. L'utilisation du nouveau matériau caoutchouc-OK permet d'élaborer un nouveau procédé de production de matériaux composites en utilisant divers liants polymères. Dans ce procédé, la poudre de vulcanisât et le liant sont dosés puis mélangés jusqu'à l'obtention d'une masse homogène, après quoi le mélange obtenu est moulé et solidifié. On utilise en qualité de poudre de vulcanisât le caoutchouc-OK.
