Abstract
Description
Trag- und faltbarer KleinkochofenPortable and foldable small stove
This portable and foldable small stove works according to a principle that was used successfully by trappers and researchers over 150 years ago. Back then, empty tin cans were simply cut to size. The invention consists in that seven sheets (1 -4) are connected with hinges (5, 6, 7) in such a way that, when opened (FIG. 2), a combustion chamber with four side walls (1, 2, 3) and a floor (4) arises, in the closed state (Fig. 3) the sheets lie flat on top of each other, so that the furnace only needs a minimum of space for transport. Just above the floor level there are air inlet openings on all sides (Fig. 1; 8,9), at the upper edge there are air outlet openings (Fig. 2; 10,1 1). This arrangement creates a combustion chamber that achieves a very high level of efficiency thanks to the chimney effect. The result is an "omnivore": Even damp and rotten wood burns perfectly because the fuel is supplied from above, ie the fuel is through the upper slots (Fig. 2; 10.1 1) (if a pot or a grill on the stove or is simply thrown into the fire from above in the furnace. The fuel slides slowly down into the fire in the full heat flow and can dry and burn ready or in advanced state of thermal decomposition in the burning center. The furnace does not need any fuels that are in the free Nature is not to be found. It is also very economical in use. Due to the high heat exposure, the stove is self-cleaning. It can also simply be opened and closed, which guarantees quick operational readiness and quick assembly. Figure 1 shows the stove in Figure 2 shows the furnace in a fully opened, ready-to-use condition shows the stove in the fully closed, flat state. One way of carrying out the invention can be configured as follows: The furnace consists of seven rectangular sheets with a thickness of 2 mm (1-4). Two of the sheets that form side walls when opened (1, 2) are 15 cm high and 12 cm wide. 1.5 cm above the lower edge and 1 cm from the sides, there are two holes 4 cm wide and 1.5 cm high - the air inlet openings (Fig. 1; 8). Both sheets have a recess of 8 cm wide and 2 cm high in the middle of the upper edge - the air outlet openings (Fig. 2; 10). Four of the sheets are half as wide, i.e. 6 cm, and also 15 cm high (3). Two each form the other two side walls of the furnace, connected to one another by hinges (6). 1.5 cm above the lower edge and 1 cm from the sides, there is an opening 4 cm wide and 1.5 cm high in each of these narrower sheets (Fig. 1; 9). The recess of the upper edge is 4 cm wide and 2 cm high. It is located on the extreme side of the side that meets the other narrow sheet, so that a coherent air outlet opening of 8 cm width is created (Fig. 2; 1 1). These four side walls - two one-part and two two-part - are now arranged so that when the furnace is open, the one-part and the two-part face each other. A last plate (Fig. 1; 4) is attached to one of the two wide side walls just below the lower ventilation slots (i.e. approx. 0.9 cm above the lower edge) by means of a hinge (Fig. 1; 7). This is 12 cm x 12 cm and forms the bottom of the furnace when folded down (Fig. 2; 4). For the purpose of ventilation and so that the ashes can fall out, it contains 25 regularly arranged square holes with a side length of 1 cm (Fig. 2; 12). So that the floor comes to lie horizontally, a stop (Fig. 2; 13) is incorporated in the other, opposite plate, which prevents the bottom plate from being folded down too far. In order to fold the oven, the bottom can be folded up so that it comes to lie on the inside of the wide sheet (Fig. 1; 2) to which it is attached. The hinges (6) between the narrow sheets (3) are incorporated in such a way that they can be folded inwards so that the outer sides of the two narrower sheets (when opened) come next to each other after being folded up. The integrated hinges (5) between the wide and narrow sheets can be folded outwards so that when the stove is folded, the two inner sides of the narrow sheets are on the outside of the wide sheet. Folded up completely, the furnace thus forms a very flat body from five layers of sheet metal placed on top of one another (FIG. 3).
