Abstract

L'invention concerne un système de reconnaissance et de gestion de composants pour réseaux optiques, servant à l'établissement d'une configuration de réseau présentant les caractéristiques suivantes: a) des lecteurs (39, 41, 79, 79') sont disposés dans la zone de chaque douille d'accouplement (23, 24, 35, 35') d'un élément de distribution (38, 38', 38', 61, 67, 68) tel qu'une boîte de connexion ou un panneau de connexion, lecteurs au moyen desquels, lorsqu'une connexion par enfichage a été établie, un support d'information (26, 32) placé au niveau d'un fiche mâle (20, 55) enfichée dans la douille d'accouplement correspondante peut être lu; b) à chaque élément de distribution (38, 38', 38', 61, 67, 68), est affectée une unité d'évaluation (21, 22) qui est couplée, par l'intermédiaire d'un bus de données, avec les lecteurs (39, 41, 79, 79'), au niveau des douilles d'accouplement de l'élément de distribution, et qui, par l'intermédiaire des lecteurs (39, 41, 79, 79'), peut lire les supports d'information (26, 31, 32) de fiches mâles enfichées dans les douilles d'accouplement correspondantes et les attribuer à l'accouplement; c) une unité d'évaluation (21, 22) est constituée d'une unité électronique maîtresse (49, 49', 49', 50, 50', 50') et d'au moins une unité électronique esclave (51, 52, 53, 54, 51', 51', 52', 53', 54'), chaque unité électronique unité esclave étant affectée à un groupe d'éléments de distribution, par exemple à tous les éléments de distribution disposés dans une boîte de distribution, et une ou plusieurs unités électroniques esclaves étant gérées par l'unité électronique maîtresse (49, 49', 49', 50, 50', 50') correspondante, de sorte que l'état du réseau local puisse être établi et contrôlé à partir d'une unité électronique maîtresse.
