Abstract

L'invention concerne un accouplement pour assembler les deux extrémités d'une section de courroie dentée en vue de former une courroie continue fermée qui présente un élément d'accouplement (1) monobloc afin d'assurer un maniement aisé et fiable et de pouvoir recevoir à plusieurs reprises de manière amovible les extrémités de la section de courroie dentée. L'élément d'accouplement comporte des cavités (11) adaptées à la succession de dents de la courroie dentée (3) et destinées à recevoir par liaison de forme dans le sens longitudinal de la courroie, les dents (31) des deux extrémités de la section de la courroie entretoisées par rapport aux faces opposées dans le sens longitudinal de la courroie. L'élément d'accouplement comporte également une fente (4) s'étendant latéralement dans le sens longitudinal de la courroie et à travers laquelle les extrémités de la courroie peuvent être introduites par poussée en position de réception par les arêtes de leurs petits côtés, ce qui entraîne un élargissement élastique de le fente (4).
