Definitions
- the invention relates to a high-pressure cleaning device with a high-pressure pump for a cleaning liquid, a pressure line leading from the latter to a delivery point and with an injector in the pressure line which produces a constriction and which has a suction or control line branching off in the vacuum region.
- Such high-pressure cleaning devices are known for example from DE 32 48 622 C2.
- An injector in the pressure line which practically represents a constriction with subsequent widening, creates a negative pressure in the region of the constriction when a liquid flows through the pressure line.
- This negative pressure is used to either suck in chemicals in a line branching off in this area or to use this negative pressure for control purposes, for example for displacing a control piston for a bypass line.
- the parabolic cross-sectional widening is preceded by a flow path with a constant cross-section, which is also downstream of the branch of the intake or control line.
- the injector therefore does not expand immediately after the suction or control line has branched off, but rather the expansion only begins downstream of this branch.
- the length L 2 over which the cross-section of the pressure line widens parabolically, corresponds to six to fifteen times the diameter d 2 of the pressure line immediately downstream of the branching of the suction or control line.
- the length L lf over which the constant cross section of the pressure line extends between the branching of the intake or control line and the beginning of the parabolic extension zero to six times the diameter d 2 of the pressure line immediately downstream of the branching of the intake - or control line.
- a further reduction in flow losses can be achieved if the cross-section of the pressure line upstream of the branch of the suction or control line is reduced in a parabolic direction, this effect having a significantly less influence on the size of the flow.
- loss of loss has the form of the cross-sectional expansion downstream of the branch of the intake or control line.
- Figure 1 is a schematic longitudinal sectional view of the essential parts of a high-pressure cleaning device with an injector in the area of an intake line and a control line and
- Figure 2 is a longitudinal sectional view through a special embodiment of an injector.
- the pump head 1 of a high-pressure cleaning device shown in longitudinal section in FIG. 1 comprises a plurality of pumping chambers 2, of which only one is shown in the drawing. These are connected via an inlet valve 3 to a suction line 4 and via an outlet valve 5 to a pressure line 6.
- a piston 7 is immersed in the pump chamber, which piston can be displaced reciprocally by a drive (not shown in the drawing), so that the volume of the Pump chambers 2 changes periodically.
- the pressure line leads via a check valve 8 to an injector 9, which essentially has a section 10 which narrows in cross section, a section 11 adjoining it downstream with a constant cross section, and subsequently a widening section 12 downstream thereof.
- a high-pressure line (not shown in the drawing) can be connected downstream of the injector 9, for example by screwing a union nut onto an external thread 13.
- a suction line 15 which is closed by a check valve 14, branches off from the pressure line 6 and leads to a chemical supply (not shown in the drawing), for example to a cleaning chemical.
- a control line 16 branches off in section 11, which leads to a control chamber 17.
- This control chamber 17 is formed by a cavity 18 in the pump head 1, which is divided into two chambers by a piston 19 which is displaceably mounted in this cavity 18 and is sealed with respect to this, namely the control chamber 17 and the other a further control chamber 20 which is connected to the Pressure line 6 upstream of the check valve 8 is connected via a connecting line 21.
- the piston 19 is connected to a valve body 22 which, depending on the position of the piston 19 Bypass line 23 opens or closes, which leads from the control chamber 20 to the suction line 4.
- cleaning liquid is pumped from the pump chamber 2 into the pressure line 6 under high pressure and reaches a delivery point, for example a spray lance, via the connected high pressure line.
- a delivery point for example a spray lance
- the flow is accelerated by the constriction, and this leads to a drop in pressure in this area.
- This pressure reduction is used to suck in chemical via the suction line 15 and to reduce the pressure in the control chamber 17.
- the reduction of this pressure in the control chamber 17 leads to the piston being displaced into the closed position of the bypass line 23 under the effect of the higher pressure in the control chamber 20.
- FIG. 9 A new and special cross-sectional shape of an injector 9 is shown in FIG.
- This injector 9 has a narrowing section 10 in which the cross-sectional shape decreases in a parabolic manner, that is to say in cross-section the contour of the delimiting inner wall is parabolic.
- the cross-section of the pressure line widens in the form of a step 25, and this step 25 is followed by section 11 with a constant diameter.
- the suction line 15 and the control line 16 branch off from the section 11 transversely to the direction of flow.
- Section 11 with a constant cross-section is followed by a section 12 with a widening cross-section, the contour of the delimiting wall being described in cross-section by a parabola which merges into section 11 with a constant cross-section parallel to the direction of flow and without changing direction.
- d, Cd- ,.
- C is a coefficient between 1.0 and 1.4.
- the length of the section 11 with a constant cross section is denoted by h-
- the length of the section 12 which widens parabolically is denoted by L 2 .
- the length L is usually zero to six times as large as the diameter d 2 of the section 11, the length L 2 is usually six to fifteen times as large as d 2 .
