Abstract

Cette invention concerne un véhicule blindé léger perfectionné (1) ainsi qu'un procédé d'un bon rapport efficacité/coût qui permet d'équiper a posteriori des automobiles standards pour les transformer en véhicules blindés légers. Des garnitures (133) et des tiges métalliques profilées, qui sont installées autour des vitres (131) en verre feuilleté pour protéger les bords du verre feuilleté des contraintes, de l'humidité et des éléments atmosphériques, peuvent être adaptées à un encadrement (135) de vitre d'une automobile standard. Des vitres (179) d'un autre type, en verre feuilleté, à l'épreuve des effractions, peuvent être adaptées à des encadrements des vitres d'origine d'une automobile standard. Un blindage opaque (11, 13, 15, 17, 19, 21, 205, 207) de faible poids, préfabriqué et formé rigidement, est moulé pour pouvoir être ajusté précisément à ladite automobile standard. En outre, on utilise de petites pièces d'acier (440, 446, 442, 444, 448, 450) antiprojectiles pour renforcer le blindage et l'intégrité structurale en différents points du véhicule blindé. De manière générale, le blindage est conçu pour permettre une fabrication sur site des composants d'un bon rapport efficacité/coût ainsi que pour permettre des procédures d'installation d'un bon rapport efficacité/coût, cela dans le but de produire un véhicule blindé léger d'un prix abordable.
