Definitions

  • the invention relates to the loch for closing of hand luggages as bags, Buit-caseB etc. Background Art
  • the code locks can be divided into numerical ones with optional combination of the opening code and locks with manually adjusted code combination.
  • the code locks with manually adjusted combination are opened by plastic cards with slots. In fact it means a passage between key and code locks.
  • Their disadvantage is necessarity of use of supplementary part, it means a plastic card, which means a danger of loss again.
  • the keys with an optional combination of opening code are usually controlled by three or four small wheels and by each of them it is possible to adjust a number from zerro to nine. From the user's point of view the Betting of wheels in a lift to the whole lock is perpendicular or parallel. Adjustment of the code combinantion is possible only in position when the code for opening of lock is adjusted on the lock with a help of a small opening lever or a special lever on inner side of the lock. By a pressure toward the opening lever in the opposite direction then the opening direction is, or by resetting of the inner support lever, one can adjust new numeric combination.
  • the wheels are usually very small and require great. accuracy when adjusting. Manipulation with them, especially in aggravated atmospheric conditions as in freeze etc., is very diiiicult.
  • a lock for closing of hand luggages consisting of bath and a buckle fitting in with it, the principle of which is based on the iact, that the bath is equipped with a side hole for a buckle latch and socket on the opposite side.
  • the buckle consists of at least three keys equipped with pins on the bottom Bide, movably set in a basic desk while there is a movable code desk situated under them which is equipped with an operating edges on its upper side, finished by a latch. • each operating edge of the code desk is situated against bevelling of one of pins, it means the first one in order, and the rest of operating edges is gradually - according the order N of pins, determined by code - moved towards the corresponding pins to the latch N-1 times of the distance, which is shorter than diameter of the pin, therei ⁇ re the operating edge corresponding to the second pin is in a standstill position of the code desk moved towards bevelling of the pin one times of the distance which the code desk passes when corrective key is pressed.
  • the code desk is on the opposite side to the latch equipped with a second elastic element. Under the key pins the code desk is with an advantage provided with transversal grooves or point holes.
  • the lock of the above described construction is very simple. Even in a case of small number of keys it creates a sufficient number of combinations. Thanks to the fact, that the keys are not officially numbered or marked somehow else, the test of even smaller number of combinations with using for example iive keys with the aim of overcoming of the lock, is quite complicated task.
