Abstract

Une barre en matière plastique empêche la lame d'un massicot de toucher le dessus de la table de travail et protège donc celui-ci contre des endommagements. La nouveauté de l'invention réside dans la forme spéciale de la barre, qui permet de fabriquer celle-ci par extrusion à partir de polypropylène ou d'un matériau similaire, sans façonnages ultérieurs. La barre est comprimée dans la rainure existant dans les dessus de tables de travail usuelles et a approximativement la même section transversale rectangulaire que la rainure. Deux bourrelets longitudinaux (3) s'étendant sur les deux surfaces latérales étroites (1) de la barre rendent celle-ci légèrement plus large que la rainure, ce qui fait qu'elle est latéralement serrée lorsqu'elle est comprimée dans la rainure, sans que son épaisseur se modifie. La déformabilité requise est assurée grâce à deux cavités (2) ménagées dans la barre le long de ses faces latérales étroites (1).
