Abstract

Le procédé se rapporte à un procédé de blanchiment de pulpe chimique, qui comprend une ou plusieurs étapes d'oxydation et une ou plusieurs étapes de traitement alcalin et dans lequel la pulpe est traitée au moyen d'une enzyme. Le principe de base de la présente invention consiste à traiter la pulpe avec une enzyme en au moins deux étapes différentes, l'oxydation et le traitement alcalin étant de préférence effectués entre les étapes de traitement à l'enzyme. L'agent d'oxydation chimique utilisé est de préférence l'oxygène, bien que du peroxyde et/ou du chlore et/ou du dioxyde de chlore puissent également être utilisés en plus ou au lieu de l'oxygène, et, dans les étapes de traitement à l'enzyme, qui sont de préférence au nombre de deux à quatre, la même enzyme ou alternativement, au moins deux enzymes différentes peuvent être utilisées. Dans le traitement à l'enzyme de la présente invention, la quantité de composés organiques toxiques contenue dans l'effluent de blanchiment est abaissée, en même temps que la consommation en oxygène chimique de l'effluent est réduite.
