Abstract
La preente invención es un procedimiento mejorado para la preparación de un inhibidor del agente de intercambio sodio/protón del subtipo 3 (NHE-3) útil en el tratamietno de apnea del sueno y otros trastornos respiratorios relacionados. La síntesis mejorada del inhibidor del NHE-3,más específicamente una bencimidazol tienilamina, utiliza nuevos reactivos y compuestos químicos intermedios y de este modo da lugar a un rendimiento mejorado y a una pureza mejorada del producto final requiriéndose menos reacciones o etapas sintéticas.
