TO ALL WHOM IT MAY OONCERN:

Be it known that I, HENRY Gr. THOMPSON, of the city, county, and State of New York, have invented or produced a new and original Design for a Pattern to be Inwrought into Three-Ply, Ingrain, and other Carpeting, in colors similar to those painted on the drawings accompanying this specification, or in other colors suhstituted in'the place of those painted on the drawings herewith; and I do hereby declare that the drawings accompanying this specieation do give and convey to any one skilled in the art of carpet-weaving a more dened and thorough description of thc nature of my invention than it is in the power of language otherwise to convey, and is suiiieient to enable any one skilled in the art of carpet-Weaving to use my invention.

What I claim asY my invention, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-

Thc configuration of the design hereunto annexed, when made by being inwrought into three-ply, ingrain, cr other carpeting, in the form similar to the drawings accompanying this specification.
