DESIGN FOR A CARPET-PATTERN.

TO ALL WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:

Be it known that I, HENRY G. THOMPSON, of' the city, county, and Stato of New York, have invented or produced a. new and original Design for a Pattern to be Inwrought into Two-Ply Ingrain and other Carpeting, in colors similar to those painted on the drawings accompanying this specification, or in other colors substituted in the place of those painted en the drawings herewith; and I do hereby declare that the drawings accompanying this specification do give and convey to any one skilled in the art of carpet-weaving a more dened and thorough description ofthe nature of my invention than it is in the power of language otherwise to convey, and is sutiicient to enable any one skilled in the art of carpet-Weaving to use my invention.

What I claim as my invention, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-

The configuration ofthe design hereunto annexed, when made by being inwrought into two-ply ingrain or other carpeting, iu the form similar to the drawings accompanying this specification.
