DESIGN FOR A GEAR-WHEEL BOXING FOR CLOTHES-WRINGERS.
SPECIFICATION forming part Of Design No. 34,377, dated April 16, 1901.
Application filed March 19, 1901. Serial No. 51.948. Term ofpatent 14 years.

Be it known that I, HENRY P. CLARK, a citizen of the United States, residing at Independence, in the county of Jackson and State of Missouri, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Gear-Wheel Boxingfor Olothes-VVringei-s, of which the following is a specification.
My invention relates to gear-wheel boxings forclothes-wringers; and my object is to produce a new and original design for the same which is both useful and ornamental.
In the accompanying drawings, Figure 1 is a perspective view. Fig. 2 is a front view, and Fig. 3 is a side view.
The leading or material feature of the design consists in a vertically-elongated hollow body, open at its rear side and provided with flanges in the plane of its rear side and with a slot in one of its side walls.
Minor features of the design reside in the rounding corners of the body and flanges, in the approximately V-shaped horizontally-extending grooves centrally of the side walls, in an opening in its front side about centrally of the lower half thereof, in the holes in the flanges, and in a slot in the opposite side wall similar to the one above referred to.
Referring to thedrawings in detail, 1 designates the elongated hollow body, open at its rear side, 2 the flanges at the rear side thereof, and 3 the holes in said flanges.
4 designates the opening in the front side of the body, and 5 the slots in the side walls.
6 designates the rounding corners of the body; 6, the rounding corners of the baseflanges; 7, the approximately V shaped grooves in the side walls, and S the slot in the opposite side wall.
